The Challenge
TCM is governed inconsistently across the 27 EU member states, leaving practitioners and patients without a common standard.
Education and qualification vary widely in depth and rigour, making quality difficult to verify.
Without trusted certification, qualified practitioners struggle to be recognised and patients struggle to choose safely.

Some bridges are built by engineers. Others are built by people who have lived on both sides. Marquesa Leung came to Traditional Chinese Medicine not as a career choice, but as a calling — studying at its roots in China, learning to read the body through the quality of a pulse, the colour of a tongue, the way a patient holds their breath when they speak about their pain. Years of working across international governance, regulatory technology, and healthcare gave her a perspective she did not expect: that Traditional Chinese Medicine in Europe is facing a structural crisis — and that building the right quality infrastructure is the only answer.
